I did it! I’ve started! When I went to bed yesterday I hadn’t written anything besides the title. I had prepared (read: procrastinated) by opening a lastFm account and reading&commenting on the wonderful NaNoWriMo’s forum, but hadn’t even written an opening line. But yesterday night – after watching a very bizarre movie and getting mildly depressed by the originality of other writers – I got a tiny little idea what I’d love to write about (while remembering that I had forgotten to call my best friend as I was too absorbed in my own little reality) … if it’ll work out as a poor remix of this masterpiece and this one I’ll be beyond happy and probably more than lucky.
BTW: LastFM already provided useful information (via other users on the “shout-box”): Anna Ternheim will release her new (and third) album “Leaving on a mayday” on 12th November, firstly only in Sweden, but hopefully soon enough in the rest of Europe! I am really excited: Anna’s one of too many Swedish female singer-songwriters I’m in love with (and the one and only I’ve seen live twice) and her first two albums “Somebody outside” and “Separation Road” are still on rotation on my iPod. And for all of her impatient fans – there’s the acoustic version of her new single “What have I done” for free download on her website. It has a very Anna-ish sound and, again, she’s not afraid of emotionally raw lyrics.
